How much does it cost to produce a video?

Think of that question like asking an architect how much it’s going to cost to build a house.  Well, what kind of house do you want? Putting together a quote for a video takes a time and effort because each video and each set of circumstances is unique. Unfortunately, there is no “one price that fits all” model. How long does it take to produce a video?

We turn projects around in as little as one week depending on complexity and number of shoot days. Contact us so we can give you a better estimate based upon your specific needs.

How can I minimize the cost of my video?

The best thing you can do to keep costs down is to organize everything on your end so that everything and everyone that needs to be filmed can be shot in one day and in one location. For other cost-saving measures, contact us so we can give you information based upon your situation.

How do I send my videos and photos to Ezra Productions?

Easy! Once you’ve been set up, Ezra Productions will send you the password for our Client File Drop. To access the Client File Drop, go to www.ezraproductions.com.

Find “Client File Drop” on the top right corner of the homepage.

Enter the password given to you by Ezra Productions.

Enter your full name and click “upload.”

Finally, just drag and drop your files into the designated area!

If you find that some of your files are too large (over 1 GB in size) to upload, contact us at info@ezraproductions.com and we can send you a Dropbox link instead and you can upload your files there.

How do I locate my photos and videos from iPhoto and send them to Ezra Productions?
  1. Launch iPhoto by clicking on the application in your dock.
  2. Select your Finder window in your dock. Go to File then New Folder and title it Ezra Productions – Your Full Name. This is where you will collect all of the photos and videos you are going to send to us. Keep this folder open.
  3. In iPhoto, go through each of your events and drag each photo or video of your choice out of iPhoto and into the new folder you just created.
  • TIP: Select multiple photos or videos at once by holding down the Command button and clicking on each file.
  • TIP: To easily find movie files, go to the search bar at the bottom left and type “.mov” or “.mp4” to filter out photos.

When you are all finished collecting your photos and videos, you will be ready to upload them onto our secure website.

  1. In your web browser, navigate to www.ezraproductions.com.
  2. When the page loads, look to the top right of the page for Client File Drop in small letters in the website’s header. Click there.
  3. In order to keep your files safe, we require a password to begin uploading your files. You should have been sent that password in an e-mail. If you do not have the password, please e-mail info@ezraproductions.com or call us and we will send it to you.
  4. Enter your name in the designated area.
  5. Navigate back to the folder you created called Ezra Productions – Your Full Name. Select all of your photos and videos from the and drag them onto where is says Drag here to upload.
  6. To select all of your photos and videos in that folder at once, click on one of the photos or videos in the folder, let go, and on your keyboard click the Command button and the letter A.
  7. Once you drag your files onto our website, your upload should start immediately.
  8. If you have videos that are larger than 1GB in size, they will not upload. Not to worry! Just send us an e-mail at info@ezraproductions.com or call us and we will help you send those photos to us quickly and easily.
  • TIP: To find out how large an individual file is, select it in iPhoto and click info at the bottom right. Your file size will be in KB (kilobytes), MB (megabytes) or GB (gigabytes). 1GB = 1,000MB = 1,000,000KB.
  • NOTE: Keep the folder you created (Ezra Productions – Your Full Name) in case you want to reference the pictures and videos you sent us in the future.
How do I locate my photos and videos on my Windows computer and send them to Ezra Productions?
  1. Begin by clicking the Start button.
  2. Click Documents.
  3. Create a new file called Ezra Productions – Your Full Name. This is where you will collect all of the photos and videos you are going to send to us. Keep this folder open.
  4. Click All Programs.
  5. Click Windows Photo Gallery.
  6. In the Navigation pane, click All Pictures and Videos.
  7. Select individual images and videos to upload, or use the Shift or Command keys to select multiple photos or videos.
  8. Drag the items into the folder you created in Step 3.

When you are all finished collecting your photos and videos, you will be ready to upload them onto our secure website.

I don't want to upload my files online. Can someone just come to me and copy the photos and videos from my computer?

That’s not a problem! We offer concierge pickup service where we come to your home or office and copy the files we need. We can even help you locate and centralize all of your photos and videos on your computer, and digitize DVDs and other older media.
