We were excited to work with Umami Burger again to help publicize their new partnership with Bon Jovi and Hampton Water. Umami Burger required social media videos and photos to support the launch of “The Hampton Burger,” which was designed by Bon Jovi’s son, Jesse Bongiovi. As part of the partnership, $1 of the sale of each burger sold goes to the JBJ Soul Foundation to help break the cycle of poverty.
The client required a good deal of content to be shot in just a few hours with minimal footprint. We planned the timing of the day very strategically to maximize our the time we had. To do that, we brought in lean, multi-talented crew and utilized sunlight to augment our commercial lighting. Our photographer snapped photos while the cinematographer filmed, and we prepped all of the photography settings while videos were being shot. We made sure to film the videos wide enough so they could be cut into vertical videos for Instagram Stories.
Umami Burger is an American restaurant chain famous for their gourmet hamburgers that contain the umami flavor. Umami currently has 25 locations around the world.
Named the best rosé of 2018 by Wine Spectator, Hampton Water is a collaboration between Jon Bon Jovi, his son Jesse Bongiovi, and famed French winemaker, Gérard Bertrand. Umami is proud to carry Hampton Water in its locations.
