Hotel Video Production Request

The Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood, CA, needed video content for its social media channels, primarily Instagram, to entice prospective guests to stay at the property. They wanted a sexy yet elegant cinematic overview of the hotel and nearby hotspots, and mini videos of different aspects of the hotel, such as Skybar, the lobby, the rooms, and nearby points of interest. Additionally, they requested vertical videos for the hotel’s Instagram Stories.

Our Approach

In order to maximize the client’s budget, we filmed high-quality footage for all of the videos one day. We used steady, flowing movements on the ground and in the air (via drone), and filmed in slow-motion in order to accentuate different aspects of the hotel. In the videos, we weaved shots of the amenities and nearby points of interest into a tapestry that evokes the luxury experience that The Mondrian offers. In the edit, we switched between details and close-ups, wide sweeping shots, and day to night, for one unforgettable experience. We finished the video using cinematic coloring and cool, sexy music.
