Dogs Without Borders
Project Overview
Finding a new home for a dog named Cici was the main objective of this video commissioned by Dogs Without Borders. Even with exposure at adoption fairs, no one was able to see Cici’s sweet nature and understand that she was a loving and caring Mom who had just raise a litter of 4 puppies.
By filming in the comfort of her foster home, we were able to capture Cici in an authentic light and give a glimpse into what someone’s life could be like with this sweet dog included. The frames made in After Effects helped us take a personal approach, while modern instrumental music track incorporated elements of surrealism through its lyrics. Using a bright backdrop of a country landscape established a serene tone and added to the emotional call to action.
This video was able to depict a side of her that no one saw at first glance and helped find a new home for Cici soon after!

Company Overview
Founded in 2006, Dogs Without Borders is a non-profit 501-c-3 rescue organization based in Los Angeles, California. DWB rescues stray and abandoned dogs from local shelters and as far away as Taiwan and Mexico. DWB is proud to have placed over 3000 dogs since its inception, and will continue to rescue thousands more with the support of generous donations, fosters, and volunteers.
