March marks the celebration of Women’s History Month and with all of the female empowerment momentum generated this year, it’s more exciting than ever. This hype isn’t lost on HBO. Over the years, the network has created so much incredible hit content featuring strong female characters. This year, to recognize the immense impact women have had in the world of video production, HBO has created a special programming schedule highlighting TV and film selections honoring strong female characters. To jump start the month, the network released a branded content promo video titled “Write Your Own Story,” featuring an ensemble of scenes of women in their current series delivering powerful and funny lines.

As a woman-owned video production company, we applaud HBO for taking a stand and featuring strong female characters in their programming, and highlighting their importance during women’s history month.
